Here the Mallard duck shows how easy it went.

The year just flew by and I’m out checking how big the Grand River has risen with all the rain we have been hit with. We had a white Christmas but the rain washed it all away. The West Montrose bridge is ready for what ever the Grand River can send it.

It’s still early in the morning and the frozen dew still clings to the golden rod

It’s all but over, the milkweed has done it’s bit to continue the life cycle.

Almost all the birds have left Wilson’s Flats but a few tough one’s stay like the ordinary pigeon

My last shot is of a young Red Tailed Hawk. It was high up in the tree and it was able to look back and look ahead. Just like the last day of 2024 allows us to do. I think for me it has been wonderful. I was able to meet and improve the homes of my clients. They all were very special people who made my day great. I was front and centre of a spectacular Aurora storm in May and got some of my finest pictures of the display in a book. It was to repeat its self in October. Just awesome. Then I was able to photograph the total solar eclipse. The fastest 5 minutes nature has to offer. My trip in October was great to see the different fall colours in Ontario. As for looking ahead, the world of great shots awaits my camera.
