A spring morning at Wilson’s Flats March 29 2025

It is spring, the Grand river has receded to normal and the water is fairly clear. I came with no expectations and am always surprised at what it offers. Today most of the birds have not returned but I heard the red wing black bird, saw a Blue Jay, a Blue Heron flew over and the river had 4 Bufflehead ducks and a Mallard couple.

There were 3 males and one female

And the Mallard couple just stayed on the water
