A Day in the Bruce

I had a day off this week and the weather was perfect for a drive up to the Bruce with my dear wife. The water was still warm at Sauble Beach but the people had left and most businesses were closed for the season. But nature was still alive and showing off its glory. This Monarch was looking for a place on the warm sand.

There was a huge flock of Canada Geese just slowly moving along just off shore. The picture got less then 1/4 of them.

Walking in the warm water I was fascinated by the sunlight on the water and the little waves distorting the sand below the water.

  1. Nice pictures! The monarch one is beautiful! Cecilia had several flying around her back yard when I stayed there.

    1. Thanks, it was the first time I tried to get a picture of a monarch flying.
