FINALLY!

Finally we get the cold temperature with the clear skies. This winter has not been great for sunshine. Well my spirit was boiling over and the camera was ready to see what nature was going to offer me today. Well it was beyond awesome. If you missed that super day on Sunday you missed a lot. Allow me to show you what I found. So where to go was the first question. I settled on the Bruce. It has never let me down on showing it’s beauty. First stop Inglis Falls just south of Owen Sound.

Next stop is Indian Falls just north of Owen Sound

On to Sauble Beach to see how frozen the lake is.

In the distance you can see a cloud so there is open water under the cloud

Next is Sauble Falls

Frost from the water falls steam

The island lighthouse in Southampton locked in by ice.

To finish the day a sunset was called for. Here at Kincardine the sun dogs were guiding the sun down

After the sun set the full moon rose but I forgot my tripod so I missed capturing it. It was just an awesome day. My spirit is recharged with the wonder of winter in our great country Canada.

  1. Beautiful! Great sun dog capture. I love that lighthouse shot too. And the waterfalls!
We haven’t had much sun lately either! Our weather for the whole next week is still cloudy 🙁

  2. I love the last three pictures! Beautiful with the sun.

    1. It is so wonderful when the sun is out all day and not a cloud in the sky.
