Well we had our rain, lots of of it, and we had what you could call a heat wave as temperatures hit +17 for me Saturday. And we have the stunning miracle of spring. Snowdrops covered with over a foot of snow 2 days ago are in bloom today. But with that rain and snow melt we have a lot of water that needs to move. So I will show you how much water is moving today. Lucky for us we had a warm spell with rain that took care of the river ice a while back so no thick ice to plug up the rivers. perfect! First picture is the Grand closest to me. Oh in my travels I saw 3 robins!

The Grand also has beavers but I have not seen their homes yet along the river.

The river at Bridgeport

Next stop West Montrose where the only wooden covered bridge sits in Ontario. The bridge is getting a complete makeover so it can last for many more years.

Next stop Wilson Flats

Even found some ducks

The Conestoga River in Conestoga

The Conestoga river at Sollie’s Park at 3 bridges rd in St Jacobs

This is the dam on the Conestoga River at the Park that once feed a water run to St Jacobs.

So it was just a ducky day today. The energy that the sun brings is just awesome. Last Monday in Algonquin at -22 and today the snow is almost gone and the rivers are full and the snowdrops are blooming. It can’t get better than that!
