I set off for Hullett Marsh not knowing what I would find. I found the ice was covering about half of each pond. And the sun was not co-operating again today. It had the sky with heavy enough clouds that the sun was not visible. The good part was the ponds were covered with Tundra Swans, ducks, Canada Geese and a pair of Sand Hill Cranes. If you never been out where the Canada Geese are, you missed out on how they are the lookout guards for the place they are in. They spotted me before any of the other birds and they started their warning screams. So as I got close to the Swans they were already moving out to the other side of the pond because the Geese had warned them. Oh well nature has its way of staying alive and making it a challenge to get them on my camera.
