At the dam that diverts the water for the Mill race in the past I found this adult Blue Heron on the shore of the Conestoga River.

Here the Heron is flying low over the river just past the dam

Here a male Cardinal is looking for a drink on this hot 32 degree plus day

And why not jump in and really cool off. It in a flash was completely wet. And refreshed.
