The world is filled with special places that most of us just don’t see. This market is one of them. Yes a great number of residents in the KW area use it but a lot are missing out. Today I thought it was time for me to see if I could capture the range of fresh farmer grown produce that is offered to us this Saturday morning. Going early I miss the best part of the market. By 10 AM the parking lots are filling up fast and the people are ready to see what fresh produce is on offer today. For me when the market is full of people it has a positive energy that makes one feel alive. Yes it can slow one down but you are there with like minded people who just love great produce. It’s great. I picked only some of the local farmers produce to photograph and not the resellers because I wanted to show what the local farmers had to offer. I have nothing against merchants who bring in food from other regions, like one had fresh sweet corn from Georgia USA. So here we go!

The Strawberry lady wanted me to take her picture. She is always friendly and says hi to everyone as she goes on about how wonderful her berries are. She is in this outfit for the whole strawberry season. The St Jacobs farmers’ market special sales lady. She is a gem.
