Pacific Rim National Park

I made it to my second Bucket List place. Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park. Every place in the world is special to someone. For me the ocean waves on a quiet beach has a huge effect on me. It just puts my spirit in a very quiet state. This beach did it for me and I feel blessed that I had an opportunity to experience it. The whole park has NO homes, No commercial shops and it was just 100% natural. Wonderful. It has over 10 Kms of beach. It has waves that are. big enough for surfers. The only hitch is you got to wear a wet suit for the water is ocean cold.

I also had a wish to carry out for a dear neighbour lady. She and her husband had been to Long Beach early on in their life together. She like most people walked the beach and collected the shells. Well as she is maturing she was hoping to bring the shells back to where they came from. When she learned I was going to her beach she asked me to take them home. I was honoured to carry out her wish.

Morning before sunrise

  1. Oh wow. You got some stunning photos. Way better than my iPhone did! Nice job.

  2. A fantastic place. My sister who was with me said that on a clear day you can see Japan and because I was young and naive I believed her…for a minute. 😀
