They are back!

The Tundra Swans are back. A miracle of nature as we had cold, ice, and snow a few days ago and boom it’s spring. The ice is gone, the snow is melted and the birds and swans are here. The swans have a few places in southern Ontario to come and rest and recharge for their next flight north. These swans can be found just south of the area south of Grand Bend and the Pinery. They are not happy with people so they are a way off but close enough to see them.

I love to see them fly

  1. Beautiful! They look so elegant in flight! Nice shots! Did you just get lucky or you knew they were there?

  2. Actually a few years ago my brother Tom directed me to them. When I went a few years ago there were way more swans but I may have been early this time because the winter just left.
