The Swans are Back! March 8 2025

The swans are back off River road near Grand Bend. They come each year to the river flood waters to rest from their long fight north from their winter resting area. As winter snows start melting away the Swans are the first big sign that spring is here.

Even the Canada Geese came to look what is going on.

Nature is so awesome. The sun starts from its low point in the sky to bring changes as it move on it the highest point on June 21. The Swans remind us that the sun is about to release a burst of energy that will renew life. They are on the way to the far north to nest and grow their young. So too is all of nature as new life springs forth. I am fortunate to be able to photograph a small piece of the marvels transformation that natures endures as it goes through the seasons. On my way home the sun says good night , I’ll see you in the morning.

  1. Wow! Great swan pics! And moon! And sunset! And even those Canada Geese! You’re making me think I really do need to bring my camera with me this summer. 🤔

  2. I had no idea there were so many wild swans here! The photo of the two flying swans is amazing.
